B2B Inside Sales Director – St. Louis

Our professional services client wants us to find them a top-notch B2B Inside Sales Director for their St. Louis location. The requirements are listed below; however, an exceptional telephone and email sales and selling skills and demonstrated ability to build and manage an inside sales and account management team necessary for success in this role. Candidates with a proven ability to negotiate successfully and close complex contracts; Effectively create and articulate customer value and ROI will stand out. To be considered all candidates must be US Citizens or Green Card Holders.

  • Degree in Business or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of proven work experience in inside sales management
  • A proven leader and performer with experience building, leading and managing inside sales teams.
  • Sales lead management and deal activity
  • Recruiting, team development and training
  • Sales pipeline administration and reporting experience
  • Up to 20% remote work
  • Up to 40% travel
  • Experience selling e-products (preferred)

  • Responsibilities, General Knowledge and Technical Skills:
  • Manage the inside sales representatives team; Motivate, develop and train sales and account management team for – continued success
  • Inspire and foster a high-performance sales culture
  • Help set and track sales targets for your team; Use effective tools (CRM) to manage pipeline and process
  • Develop sales strategies, sales plans and consistent implantation of an effective ales process
  • Suggest and implement improvements in the sales administration process
  • Track, monitor, and report on sales metrics and suggest improvements
  • With sales leadership, prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts and quotas
  • Use customer feedback to generate ideas about new features or products
  • Research and discover methods to increase customer engagement
  • Ensure sales, finance and legal policies and procedures are met with the sales team
  • Build an open-communication environment for your team
  • Liaise with Marketing and GM’s to ensure brand consistency and increase sales


  • Salary range $75,000 – $100,000
  • Performance Bonus – Since this position is newly created, we are estimating OTE (total comp) to be in the $150,000 range if goals are met.  This is depending on the success of the individual, the bonus potential could be higher.
